Dear Higher Power, please help…

I'm not sure how much further I can walk in the dark,
my steps feeling hollow and my heart heavy with the weight of my own fears. Is there some place I can stand still, where the noise fades away
and I'm no longer running from my own demons?

Perhaps for one moment, I can let go of my need to control
and trust that you – whoever, whatever you are –
are bigger than my pain. Help me keep moving forward.
