Dear Higher Power, please help…

In the darkness, I search for a light to guide me, a thread to hold on to. Please, help me let go of the weights that chain me and find my way back to life.

As the night falls around me, I step into silence, and let go of the noise. For the burdens I've carried, those that weighed me down and obscured my perspective, please guide me to release.

In the midst of quiet darkness, I search for guidance. May I release the weight of yesterday's guilt and shame, allowing calm to seep into my heart.

I'm not even sure where to start or who's listening but I'm here, lost in a void. Please help me understand what's happening, what I'm doing and what it's all for.

I take a deep breath and let go, trusting that the weight of my mistakes won't crush me. I ask for the serenity to face my flaws head-on, for the courage to change my destructive patterns, and for the wisdom to forgive myself, that I might walk a little freer each day.

I'm falling apart at the seams, my edges frayed from the weight of my own shame. Please guide my hands as I try to pick up the pieces of myself.
